Premier League Prediction Game

Sorry about the late picks on this weekends up coming action. Thanksgiving as well as a whole ton of school work have kept me away from the BPL.

1 for a home win, 2 for an away win and X for a draw. 10$ up for grabs if you guess 10/10 correct.

Sat 11/27

1. Aston Villa vs. Arsenal
Both teams coming off of defeats. Robin Van Persie could make it back into the Gunners starting lineup especially after Chamakh's wastefulness last week.
Bosque's Prediction: 2

2. Bolton vs. Blackpool
Stewy Holden bags another goal in an exciting encounter between too attacking sides.
Bosque's Prediction: 1

3. Everton vs. West Brom
Everton, at home, takes all three points. Cahill with a brace.
Bosque's Prediction: 1

4. Fulham vs. Birmingham
Two sides that defend well and score infrequently.
Bosque's Prediction: X

5. Manchester United vs. Blackburn
United out class Blackburn at Old Trafford. Rooney scores.
Bosque's Prediction: 1

(Peas know how to have a good time)

6. Stoke City vs. Manchester City
Stoke are on a role coming into this game. Man City must also be in high spirits after their 4-1 shellacking of Fulham last week. I don't think Stoke can handle the combination of class and physicality that Man City have in their side.
Bosque's Prediction: 2

7. West Ham United vs. Wigan Athletic
The Hammers are poor. Wigan are missing their star striker (Rodallega) and the heart of their defense (Alcaraz) due to red card suspensions. If West Ham don't win this one then they are relegation bound for sure. The Hammers don't fall into the abyss ... yet.
Bosque's Prediction: 1

8. Wolves vs. Sunderland
Wolves are in a bit of rut, but there is nothing like a home game to pick a team back up again. Sunderland are dangerous up top and look near impossible to keep out of the back of the net.
Bosque's Prediction: X

Sun 11/28

9. Newcastle vs. Chelsea
Who knows with Newcastle this year. On the other hand, Chelsea will settle for nothing less then three points. Chelsea do not let Man U top the league.
Bosque's Prediction: 2

10. Tottenham vs. Liverpool
Liverpool does not have anybody who can mark Van Der Vaart or Bale.
Bosque's Prediction: 1

Good Luck!

My Stats:
Last Week: 5/10
Total: 5/10 (50%)
Winners: Bosque and Country with 5/10

  5. I know it's too late to post predictions, but it's never too late to brag about how I was one of the winners last week!
